A delicate young woman dabbed at her forehead with a lace handkerchief as she smiled at the other townsfolk. She waved some air towards her face, but it was in vain - her hand was not at all suited for this. What she wouldn't give for a fashionable fan. Not one of those gaudy feathered ones, but a proper lady-like one. She sighed and continued with her daily business.
